From his then girlfriend: Natalie Jean Bryan, she was an art student living at 59 Northdown Road , Margate , Kent. He was stationed at RAF Manston Kent. She dated him from January 1951 to November 1951. She belives him to have been ground crew. He came from Arkinsas. She is now 72 and not well, her memory poor. He has a daughter, Candy. Three beautiful grand-daughters and two great grand children. Natalie married twice. On her second marriage it was to a French count a legion d'honour and is now Countess de lion Quittard. Lost Friend - Beatrice Lillian Amos;RAF Filton as a Leading Aircraft Woman ,WW2 -

I am searching for a lady named Beatrice Lillian Amos. She was in the RAF based at RAF Filton as a Leading Aircraft Woman and was discharged in 1946. Her RAF Service No. was LACW 2028576.

The last address is either Church Rd or Southmeade Road, both in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol. It is thought that she may have gone to America and married an American pilot but this is speculation. I am hoping this e-mail may reach someone who knew her, a friend or relative of some sort or maybe someone who worked with her. She would be around the 80 years of age mark, maybe a bit younger, maybe a bit older. I know that 501, 504, 213 squadrons and 87 Hurricain was based at Filton but no idea of what units/division/squadron she was attached to, or how to find out.

No idea either of what American personnel was at Filton either, so I can't search that way, which would be a great help. Obviously this would help me to narrow things down!! At the moment I feel like I am looking for a needle in a haystack!! If anyone can help me, no matter how small your information may be, it will be most appreciated, even just information to point me in the right direction!!

On 12th - 16th of June 2003 we had a visit from the U.S Airforce and 5th Airforce for the 60th Anniversary Commemoration for the B-17C Flying Fortress which crashed at Bakers Creek near Mackay. Lost Friend: Capt. David K. Burke - Last Known Station: Viet Nam -

My name is David Kling. I was an Army O-1 Bird Dog pilot in Viet Nam from March of 1969 through April of 1970. During my tour, I had the pleasure of flying with an Air Force Fac who also flew a Bird Dog (except his was gray!). His name was Capt. David K. Burke. I remember a few things about him; I hope they are enough to allow us to reconnect. I do not remember where he was from, unfortunately (somewhere in the midwest, perhaps?). I do remember that he had a degree in music, of all things. He was approximately my age (57 now). The only thing that I can remember further is that he would have left Viet Nam sometime in late 1969 or early 1970. I believe he then went to Luke AFB as an instructor in A-7's. After that, he transitioned to F-100's and was sent back to Viet Nam. I haven't heard from him since. I hope the admittedly sparce information will help you. Carlton E. Anderson served with me in the 63rd MAW at Norton AFB in 1967-1969. We were in the ALCE together. I later visited him in Weisbaden in about 1972. "Cookie" as we called him cross trained into computers and it was then that we lost track of him. One such call came, but at the time I was in Pennsylvania caring for and arranging custodial care for my Mother, and in the course of same, most regretably,I misplaced that name and number. I believe "Cookie" and Athena had at least one child, a male, who by now would be close to 30 years of age.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of David Ash (Ashe?) who entered the USAF from Sarver, Pennsylvania. I was just reading the missing friends site. I myself am trying to find family of a Bruce Preston Brooks ( could be B Preston Brooks, or other combinations/spellings ) He was a GI serving in England in September/ November 1944.
