It was believed that he was going back home, somewhere in Massachusetts. Missing Friend: Peter Messina

When I was 14 (1984) I was living in Long Compton (between Stratford upon Avon and oxford) my family and i had the pleasure of meeting 3 Americans who was based at upper Hayford and all became part of our family, Peter Messina, the youngest one, used to spend a lot of time with us and became great friends, Unfortunately he was relocated to south Carolina, probably 1986ish, and unfortunately we lost touch. Since then I have unsuccessfully, through the internet been trying to locate him, which is very hard to do, being outside the U.S. and not having a lot of information to go on. Peter Messina has to be around late 30's to early 40's, and was based at upper Heyford 1984 and was then restationed to south Carolina.

Dr Don Martin was the USAF Medical officer serving at the US Embassy Moscow in 1960 when I held a similar post at the Brit Embassy. Where would I be able to see lists of USAF personnel stationed inthe Berkshire area in England (Ascot area) during WW2 ? When my Grandmother died recently she disclosed some information on a gentleman she knew whilst stationed at Ascot during the war. His name was John (Johnny) Mueller
