more precisely from a village near Arezzo in
Tuscany. I assume that the 'incident happened at'
beginning of summer 'of 1944 in the skies of Casentino: two
aircraft were shot down but the pilots escaped
one of them fell near the village of Faltona (43 °
37 '26.87''N / 11 ° 45' 55.76''E), the other slightly
further east at the QUEEN OF THE STONE (43 ° 37 '39.15''
N / 11 ° 55 '17.34''East). The two pilots got together and
hid in a farmhouse near the village of CHIUSI DELLA VERNA

LUSINI GIOVANNI who gave shelter and food for two
